RYO Reregister Plugin
RYO Reregistration Plugin provides control over the default WordPress login form. It’s a Registration blocker and redirector.
Even when you’re using a member control system like Wishlist Member, a savvy user can register for your website if they know WordPress because they’ll know how to access the registration panel through the login panel. (That won’t give them access to protected areas in the website, but it may give more than you want to give.) Unless you’ve blocked user registrations, you could end up with a bunch of registrations you really didn’t want.
Besides, if someone clicks ‘Register’ you’d probably like to take them to a sales page or information page that ultimately leads them to register in the desired way!
You have several options:
- Block registrations except for those with a secret URL.
- Redirect those who click a ‘Register’ link to your specified page.
- Redirect registrants who do register to a specified page after they register.
- Add special instructions to the Registration Page, more than the standard ‘Register For This Site’ text.
Beta test version available.

Does this plugin have a subscription option? Where I can add PayPal into the registration process. I am planning on having membership features where the user will have to pay $$$ per month on my website. Will we see this feature in the future?
Thanks, Nick
Sorry, Nick, no.
But it was created for people with shopping carts that redirect to a “Thank you page” after a successful checkout. The regular registration options are blocked unless you know the secret codes.
For a more robust member management plugin, complete with page protection (so only paid members see protected pages), I use WishList Member. (Affiliate link.)
